Latest news!

I would like to thank anyone and everyone who has already asked me to book their travel! I have yet to advertise, except for this blog, and word of mouth, and have plenty of business! I am very thankful to all of you and please everyone, if you didn't know already, I can book ANY travel.

A note concerning airfare,...I can book it in a package as it is cost effective for me to do so, often saving you money and I myself am able to derive some commission from the airline off the sale. Much of the time though you will find the same rates yourself online. In order for me to take the time necessary to sell flights only, I will often be forced to charge a fee. I am happy to book flights for people, but if you are going to stay in a hotel or resort, please let me also serve you in this area too, as it usually will save you money and gives me the opportunity to be of greater service to you while remaining a successful business.

Also, I can book little hotel trips too, so don't forget about that!

Enough about the business though! Isaac is now 17 months old, and doing awesome! He is as adorable as ever, and one of the words he says the most is "Jesus!" only is sounds like "eeyuh!"
He worships the Lord at church and even laid hands on me once and said "eeyuh!" Seriously!

Carl has been hired as a teacher at the middle school as the teacher for behavioral intervention. Praise the Lord! He hopefully will be used by God to be a positive influence on some kids who really need good role models!

My parents are getting ready to build a log home and become dealers for log home kits themselves! Very exciting and hopefully it all works out as planned! :)

We had a tent meeting down here in southern Oregon a couple of weeks ago, with some awesome speakers! A man named John Crowder, who has a great book out that I highly recommend called "The New Mystics". He has a website by the same name. A wonderful speaker and excellent book! Just a man filled with the Holy Spirit who has a heart for the Lord and loves to pour himself out! We were truly blessed!

Also, Carl and I made the mistake of watching the Pirates of the Caribbean movie last night and I do not recommend it at all! It was long, confusing with the difficult accents, and had a lot of really gross looking characters in it that made my stomach turn over the whole time!

Well this is the latest scoop! God bless everyone, and hope you are all doing well!

Announcing the Opening of Fly Family Travel

Hello, everyone who comes to the Simpson Family Blog! I just wanted to give out some information that may be of interest to you all!

Announcing the opening of my business
Fly Family Travel! I (Heather) have applied for my business license with the city, and am sending my state registration application in today! I have also signed a business agreement with a travel agency in Portland called ABC's of Travel. They have a website www.ABCPDX.com. I am an independent contractor and will have their oversight and assistance every step of the way. I will have a website as soon as possible to serve my clients locally. If anyone would like assistance with travel needs, please email me by attempting to post comments (they are filtered because I was getting spammed comments). Put your email, name and phone number in the comments!

Once I have your information, I will contact you and arrange to meet if possible. I will meet people I know personally in their homes, and others in public places at their convenience. I am very good at returning email and of course telephone calls!

Fly Family Travel is a full service travel agency. The primary focus is "
Family Vacations". Cruises, All-Inclusive Resorts, Italy and Hawaii are the main products I will be offering. Of course I LOVE the entire world and am enthusiastic about sending people anywhere! I myself would love to visit just about every place people like to go!

I will be up and running completely either this week or next week and can start planning travel immediately. Once all of my license and registrations are complete, I will be legit and ready to roll!
I am SO excited about this!! I have worked in customer service for such a long time, and LOVE the travel industry!

My background if anyone is wondering, is training as an Airline Travel Specialist from International Air Academy. There I received travel agency training as well. I worked for Delta Airlines for just shy of 3 years. I have been in some type of retail or service industry for about 14 years. I also feel God has been directing my path throughout the years in this direction. My experiences and desires have culminated to this career. I am also operating out of my home to be able to stay home with the kid(s).

Fly Family Travel is going to be centered around the clients needs and desires! I want to give people a very harmonious travel experience. I will strive to give people the very best experience their budget can handle! I am not a high pressure sales person. For myself, I despise doing business that way! I will only upsell people to the things they really want, will enjoy and can afford. I would like to arrange plenty of luxury travel as well, and believe in this area there is a market for that, but offering true value is of utmost importance! Giving people the best experiences for their money is my goal! Throughout the years I have increasingly grown weary of the standard business/client relationship. It is no fun for anyone to speak to a client for 10-15 minutes (or more depending on the industry) and then never speak to them again! I desire ongoing relationship with my clients!

I would love to do business with
YOU! If there is any way I can be of service, now and in the future please contact me! I will be marketing Fly Family locally very soon. Some of the details are still being worked out! Get ready to plan the vacation of your dreams!

Sincerely and Excitedly,
Heather Simpson

Pray for North Korea Website

Please join us and get the word out to everyone you know to pray for North Korea. In case you didn't know, the people are starving, beaten and oppressed greatly there. They are also extremely isolated, are killed if caught trying to leave, Christians are persecuted and if you aren't loyal to their leader you can be tortured, killed, or imprisoned (in a filthy prison) whether you are 6 years old, or 85 years old.

please stop eating genetically modified soy (and other foods)

Here is information enough to question whether it is smart to eat genetically modified food. Most soy eaten in America is GMO. (genetically modified organism). This food is not like a "hybrid", a cross of two different species. It has been tweaked in a lab. Please stop eating soy if you can!!!! Try to get organic, non-GMO!!!!

there have been times we've wanted to quit!

Carl has finally acquired the one thing that seemed so far out of reach! His license is approved and valid until 2009 to teach 3-8th grade! halleluJia!!!! wooohoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course it may be a while until he is actually able to get a position, unless we want to move away, but he can substitute if he wants also. Thank you FATHER GOD for your provision!!! :)

kickin' it

Here is a long lost pic from my old 1megapixel digital camera! Recently found... Isaac fell asleep like this (back when he still slept in the car!) with his thumb in his overalls. We felt the little farmer really needed that piece of grass to chew on as he kicked back in the hot summer shade! Posted by Picasa
Isaac's shiner! In case you're wondering he tripped and hit a footstool! Posted by Picasa
